The 2020 OWHE Conference will take place January 31-February 1, 2020 at Salishan Resort on the Oregon Coast.

While the OWHE mission, vision, and values have always strongly supported connection and community, the 2020 conference theme, From Me to We, represents a focus on how our educational offerings and organizational actions will center justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI). OWHE acknowledges that white supremacy and systems of oppression have been ingrained in the foundation of higher education. By engaging our members in JEDI-centered learning opportunities, we can begin breaking down these systems through community and shared understanding. “From Me to We” is a call to celebrate and uplift the diversity of voices in this state and organization, while calling for equitable inclusion of all intersectional identities.

We hope you will leave the conference inspired to continue your own professional and personal growth and to use what you learned or the JEDI of all.
